Explosives were seized from a Kohat-bound mini-truck near here on Friday. DSP Mahr Javed Iqbal told newsmen that a mini-truck (FDZ-9911) of Al-Fazal Company Rawalpindi, loaded with about 40 kiligram of explosives, was on its way from Karachi to Kohat when it was stopped at Khanpur Bagga Sher. He said that two persons were arrested from the mini-truck and they are being interrogated.
They said the company supplied dynamite to the Pak Army and OGDC for carrying out work in hilly areas. The DSP said the aforementioned company was being contacted for verification.
