The Karachi Port handled 308,797 tonnes of cargo including 223,567 tonnes of import and 85,230 tonnes of export; 5,116 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) during last 48 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday. The freights comprised of 191,522 tonnes of dry cargo including 126,929 tonnes of general cargo; 47,059 tonnes of coal; 3,139 tonnes of canola seeds; 9,982 tonnes of cement and 117,275 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
Twenty one ships namely viz Hyundai General, Ever Gaining, PAC Antlia, Bright Ace, Ashraf B, Scorpius, Providence, Sari, Drake, Pacific Arrow, CE Pacific, OOCL Osaka, Apl Baboa, TS Dubai, Thuringia Express, Hanjin Ningbo, Bunga Raya Dua, Pulau Cebu, Chemroad Lily, Quds and Iron Butterfly sailed out to sea during the reported period.
Nineteen vessels namely Triton Stork, AG Ekaterini, Rose II, Raysut 1, Ocean Island, Thuringia Express, TS Dubai, Apl Balboa, Hanjin Ningboa, Thomas Mann, Bunga Raya Dua, Shayan 1, Mol bility, Pulau Cebu, Iron Butterfly, Quds, Chemroad lily, M T Johar, Sichem Palace are currently at the berths to load/off load canola, cement, coal, containers, general cargo and tankers respectively during 24 working hours.
Five ships namely Energy Pride, Kota Handal, Mol Ability, Sichem Palace and Thomas Mann are expected to sail on Monday. While four more vessels viz M T Johar, Alishaa, Shayan 1 and Courier due to arrive on Tuesday. Three ships namely Atlantik Miracle, Apl Brisbane and Alishaa carrying Molasses and containers are due to arrive on Monday.
While ten more vessels Conctancy, Dorian, Sima Sahba, YM Inventive, Apl Guangzhou, New Visison, Expander, Hyan Jin KS3, Thor Confidence and Lena carrying ethanol, containers, coal, cement, steel coils and project cargo respectively on Tuesday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 72,743 tonnes including 56,226 tonnes of import; 16,517 tonnes of export cargo and 2,243 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Monday. The cargoes comprised of 13,736 tonnes of furnace oil; 4,630 tonnes of palm oil; 1,000 tonnes of LPG; 17,180 tonnes of iron ore; 5,345 tonnes of cement and 30,852 tonnes of containerised cargo.
Four ships namely M T Eastern Aminity, C V MSC Magali, C V CMA CGM Azour and C V Al-Isha'a sailed out to sea during last 24 hours. While two more ships viz C V MSC Katherine Ann and M T Chun Feng are expected to sail on the same day.
Ten ships namely C V MSC Katerine Ann, C V Al-Isha'a, M V Suez, M V Green Line, M V Andinet, M V Orient-II, M T Chun Feng, M T Alaska Sea, St. Kitts and M V Iran Azrbaijan are currently occupying the berths to load/off load containers, cement, palm oil, LPG, furnace oil and iron ore at PQA Terminal during reported period respectively.
Eleven vessels namely MSC Manila, Maersk Ohio, Shaheen Al-Ghanim, Purbasari, Argent Daisy, Wales-II, Polaris Stardom, Rimar, Al-Salam-II, Al-Aqeela-1 and She Bele carrying containers, clinker, phosphoric acid, Palm oil, cement, chemicals, cement, diesel oil and cement are currently at the outer anchorage.
Four ships namely C V Maersk Ohio, C V Athena, M V Shaheen Al-Ghanim abd M T Argent Daisy scheduled to load/off load containers, cement and palm oil are expected to take berths at Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal, Engro Terminal and Liquid Terminal respectively on Monday.
