Prime Minister, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday said that government would develop the Gwadar port on priority basis to accelerate the economic activities in Balochistan through the port.
Responding to a point raised by PML-Q lawmaker Raiaz Fatiyana in the National Assembly on Wednesday, the Prime Minister in his brief policy statement said that development of Gwadar port is number one priority of his government and the port has already made operational.
He also said that fertiliser and seed for the agriculture were also imported through this port. He said operational activities through Gwadar port has created jobs for the people there and generated economic activities.
