Foreign involvement evidence to be shared with relevant countries: foreign office

Foreign Office Spokesman Abdul Basit on Saturday said that the evidence of foreign involvement to destabilise Pakistan would be shared with the relevant countries in accordance with the international protocol. Talking to Samaa news, he declined to name the countries involved in the unrest in Pakistan.
Pakistan was a responsible nation, he said adding irrefutable evidence if found would be discussed with the relevant countries bilaterally rather than drumming it in the media. Non-state actors mostly from Afghanistan are trying to destabilise Pakistan, however, benefit of doubt should be given to Afghan government as it did not enjoy writ in many parts of the country. Drug barons also have a nexus with terrorism, he added.
Strongly brushing aside the impression of the questioner that Pakistan-China relations are nowadays at the lowest ebb, he added that Pakistan was enjoying excellent relations with China. As many as 120 mega projects are being executed here in co-operation with China.
