Federal Minister for Investment, Senator Waqar Ahmad Khan said here on Monday that there was an ample room for investment in Pakistan, particularly in Banking Sector. He was talking to Raza Jafar, Chairman Emirates Global Bank (EGB), UAE, who called on him in his office.
Senator Waqar told EMB Chairman that government was committed to facilitate foreign investors, especially in banking sector adding that due to government's investment-friendly policies, many international banks were inclined to establish their branches in Pakistan. EMB Chairman congratulated the minister on his successful visit to China, Hong Kong and Qatar and hailed his strenuous endeavours to facilitate foreign investors.
