Alka (Pvt) Ltd, a leading producer of speciality chemicals for textiles in Pakistan and SAP Pakistan has entered into a technology agreement to deploy SAP's ERP software at Alka. Siemens, a SAP implementation partner in Pakistan, will oversee the implementation process.
Moeen Ahmad, Managing Director Alka (Pvt) Ltd, Muhammad Ali Awan, Director IT Alka (Pvt) Ltd and Nasir Munshi, Manager Business Development, SAP Pakistan, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. With the new SAP ERP, Alka (Pvt) Ltd is able to automate and streamline its operational processes. SAP ERP also helps the company improve on productivity with a role-base solution and centralised information.
The end-to-end management capability of the SAP ERP will allow for more informed decision making in view of the company's overall requirements, as well as the needs and responsibilities of the various business units. Speaking at the agreement signing ceremony, Moeen Ahmad said: "Implementation of SAP ERP is another step towards creating a highly efficient organisation through a strong technology infrastructure. Automation of all the services, the ability to manage and optimise our production processes will enable our people to significantly enhance and contribute towards further improving the working environment at Alka (Pvt) Ltd."
Muhammad Ali Awan, Director IT, Alka said, "After evaluating SAP's solution we found it the perfect match for our company needs. We are sure that SAP ERP will help us in achieving our objective of utilising our resources to their optimal. This will enable us to plan well in advance and evaluate all our business decisions and their impact in the highly competitive environment."
