At least seven devotees were killed and 25 others injured when a bus packed with commuters turned over near Rahim Yar Khan, in Chawk Bahadurpur, owing to the breakage of its tie-rod. DPO Rahimyarkhan Ghulam Rasul Zahid said ,"Seven passenger died and 25 were injured, four of them are in a precarious condition, when a Lodhran-bound bus, coming from Sehwan Sharif turned over, due to a technical fault that developed in the vehicle on Tuesday."
The bus met with an accident, as the over-speeding caused the tie-rod to break, killing seven including Bilal, Qasim and Pri Bux, while 25 others were injured. The injured have been shifted to Sheikh Zaid Hospital Rahim Yar Khan and Sadiqabad. Soon after the accident, the police, motorway police and ambulances arrived on the spot. Emergency was announced at the Sheikh Zaid Hospital, where the injured were given medical treatment.
