The Chief Justice Lahore High Court Khawaja Muhammad Sharif hoisted national flag at LHC building here in a simple but impressive ceremony. The ceremony was attended by the LHC judges, high LHC officials, law officers and senior bar members. President Lahore High Court Bar Association Nasira Iqbal also hoisted the national flag at the bar building in the presence of a large number of senior bar members.
While addressing the bar members after the flag ceremony Nasir asked the bar members to show their unity for the independence of judiciary and solidarity of the country. She said bar members have to support the present judiciary for disposal of the backlog and erecting corruption in the lower judiciary. She hoped that bar members will continue their struggle for strengthening the judiciary and the democracy in the country.
