The Site Association of Industry (SAI) has started its preparations to hold its annual Eid Bachat Bazaar, which would start from August 26, 2009 continue till September 9, 2009. Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan, would inaugurate the Bazaar. The SAI has been holding Eid Bachat Bazaar for the last 15 years and this will be the 16th event of its nature.
Over 100 stalls, including stalls of food products, garments, crockery, bangles, cosmetics, shoes, artificial jewellery, decorating items, will be set up in the bazaar to provide goods at discounted rates. The purpose of holding Eid Bachat Bazaar is to provide a facility to industrial workers and their families to purchase goods at 10 to 25 percent discounted rates.
Every year a very large number of factory owners of Site industrial area participate in this Bachat Bazaar, besides them industrialists across the country also take part in the event, and last year a number of exhibitors from Faisalabad and Multan participated in it. The organisers of Site Bachat Bazaar have claimed that they provide goods at factory rate or on 10 to 25 discounted rates.
