Special funds of Rs 17.50 million have been sanctioned from the Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for the uplift work of public parks so that better recreational facilities could be provided to the people of the area.
This was stated by Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan while inaugurating the development work of Rehmania Park and T Chowk of Sir Syed Town Park, which would be completed at a cost of Rs 1.8 million. The Minister announced funds of Rs 2.5 million for the construction of road of Rehmania Town and assured that choked and defective sewer lines would be replaced.
