Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has suspended National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) soccer team's coach, Syed Nasir Ismail for not ensuring discipline on the field during Pakistan Premier Football League and two Match Commissioners, Raja Ishtiaq Ahmed of Rawalpindi and Sharfat Hussain Bukhari of Islamabad for their negligence and indifferent attitude.
NBP team coach and former international player, Nasir Ismail serve two-match ban and are not allowed to communicate during the coming two games of NBP. He was found guilty of wrongdoing and misbehaving with Wapda-NBP tie Match Commissioner, Rashad Mehmood Butt (Pakistan Railways) at Railways Stadium on August 18.
The Match Commissioners of the ongoing show are being asked, according to PPFL 2009 Technical Regulations (Article 34-c) to complete the Match Commissioner's Report Form together with the PFF Match Data Sheet and send it to the PFF Secretariat with in twenty four (24) hours after completion of the each match. But Ishtiaq and Sharafat failed to execute the demand and being suspended till further orders.
Moreover, former National team skipper and lynchpin in launching of PIA football team in early 70s, Sheikh Ghulam Rabbani has congratulated Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)'s President, Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat for getting slot in Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Standing Committee. Faisal's efforts will ever be remembered in history of the sports in Pakistan with " Golden Years of Pakistan Football".
