SIALKOT: The total population of Narowal district is 1,709,757 now, which was 1,265,097 in 1998, showing an increase

SIALKOT: The total population of Narowal district is 1,709,757 now, which was 1,265,097 in 1998, showing an increase of 444,060 persons during the last 19 years.

The official statistics revealed that there are 841,950 males, 867,712 females and 95 transgenders (40 in rural areas and 55 in urban areas) in the districts now.

The rural population of Narowal district is 1,452,509 and 257,248 people live in urban centres. The average growth rate remained 1.59 per cent during the last 19 years.
