NWFP Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Sardar Hussain Babak banned all sorts of transfers and postings in his department with immediate effect and announced that further postings and transfers would be made in the month of July next. The decision to this effect was made after detailed consultation with all the concerned quarters on Friday.
The Provincial Minister asked all the teachers and their well-wishers not to approach the Minister himself or other concerned administrative officers for postings and transfers. It was decided that the management of the department had to work for the service structure, improvement of syllabus, establishment and reconstruction of new schools and other administrative decisions, therefore, the postings and transfers would be never considered and full attention would be given to solve other problems and overcome the challenges faced by the department.
