The Capital City Police (CCP) Karachi has failed to recover the four-wheeler of Editor Jang Forum and member Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) Executive Committee Akram Khan, which was stolen from outside his house situated at Defence Phase-II, a week ago.
Some unknown bandits had stolen a white colour Suzuki car no. AAP-736, Model 1997 from outside Akram Khan's home on Saturday (August 22). The complainant registered a FIR No 440/09 with Defence police station but despite passing of a week, the police could not recover the vehicle. Meanwhile, a minor boy and a teenage girl were killed in two different violent incidents across the metropolis on Friday, police and witnesses said.
A four-year-old minor boy was killed when a bullet from an unknown direction went through his skull while he was playing outside his home. The minor succumbed to his wounds on way to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC). The child, Mansoor Alam son of Manzoor Alam was the resident of Korangi.
In another incident, police have recovered a body of a 16-year-old girl who was killed after sexual harassment and physical torture. The body of the deceased was taken to JPMC for a post-mortem examination. However, further investigations are under way but nobody could identify the body till filing of this report.
