'Promotion of science, technology need of the hour'

A girl student, Hafiza Sakeena Sania, who demonstrate outstanding performance in matriculation examination, met Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif along with her parents here at Chief Minister's Secretariat on Sunday.
Shahbaz congratulated the student on her glorious success. He said that the fact that Hafiza Sakina Sania memorised the Holy Quran after 5th class and then got admission in class 9th and obtained a prominent position in matriculation examination was a proof of her abilities. He said that promotion of science and technology was need of the hour for national development and prosperity; hence the young generation should seek latest knowledge and play its due role for national development.
He said that Punjab Educational Endowment Fund had been set up to enable talented students continue their academic activities unhindered by financial problems.
