The workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will participate in Jamhuri Watan Party (JWP)'s caravan for filing Akbar Bugti's murder case against former President General Pervez Musharraf (Retd), political sources told Business Recorder on Tuesday.
According to the sources, the PML-N, JI and PTI had received invitation cards in this regard. The JWP's caravan will start from Lahore and culminate at Dera Bugti on September 4 to file a FIR against General Pervez Musharraf (Retd). When contacted JI Syed Munawar Hassan said that Pervez Musharraf was responsible for killing JWP Chief, Nawab Akbar Bugti.
He further said that his party's workers would fully participate in JWP's caravan on September 4 to file case against Musharraf. The JI leader said that his party wants trial of General Pervez Musharraf at any cost. In this regard, the party would continue its struggle, he said.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) political leader told the Business recorder on the condition of anonymity that Mian Nawaz Sharif would not take part in JWP's caravan for filing Akbar Bugti's murder case against Musharraf. However, he said that PML-N workers would fully participate in the rally.
The PML-N leader said that Mian Nawaz Sharif is likely to announce long march after Eid to pressurise the government for the trial of former President General Pervez Musharraf(Retd) under Article-6 of the Constitution.
He said that JWP's caravan would also file cases against former Prime Minster Shaukat Aziz, former Balochistan Governor Owais Ghani, Former Chief Minister Nawab Jam Yousaf, former Defence Minister Rao Sikandar Iqbal and ex-Interior Minster Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao. When contacted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Information Secretary Sirfaraaz Cheema revealed that the PTI has received invitation card from JWP President from Balochistan chapter Shahzain Bugti. He said that PTI workers would participate in JWP's rally.
