Dr Muhammad Ashraf Butt has taken over the charge of Managing Director, Heavy Mechanical Complex, Taxila, a unit under administrative control Ministry of Industries and Production. According to a press release of the HMC issued on Tuesday, prior to his present assignment, he was serving as Managing Director, Pakistan Machine Tool Factory, Karachi, and another unit under the ministry.
Dr Butt has long working experience in the engineering/manufacturing field. After having done his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from University of Manchester, UK, he joined HMC and rose to the post of General Manager in charge of Works Division from where he was posted as Managing Director PMTF Karachi.-PR
