Gold jumped to a record high of Rs 30,000 a tola (11.664 grams) after gaining Rs 620 in local bullion market Thursday after its international prices climbed to $983 an ounce, market sources said. President Karachi Saraf Jewellers Association Haji Haroon Rashid Chand said that 10-gram price also moved up by Rs 532 to record Rs 25,714 as silver also surged to Rs 360 per 10 grams.
