Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani is likely to call on Sharif brothers during his visit to Lahore. The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) sources told that chances of a meeting between Prime Minister and Sharif brothers could not be ruled out to extend goodwill gesture after recent exchange of hot words from each side.
However, they ruled out chances of any meeting between President Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) chief in near future. When asked why both sides have put their guns on halt in a hurry, they said the influential circles have made clear to the PML-N leadership that no controversy would be tolerated anymore. Therefore, the PML-N leadership changed its strategy. According to these sources, the army leadership has also sided with the PPP on present fiasco.
