The Sindh University announced admissions to all disciplines for the academic session 2010 at the institutes and departments of the University, as well as Sindh University Laar College Badin and the newly established Sindh University Campus at Mirpurkhas here on Thursday.
According to the announcement, admission forms would be issued to the candidates from the 23 designated branches of the Habib bank limited, along with a catalogue from September 15. While the last date for the submission of admission forms would be October 05.
The candidates who have passed the H.S.C Part-II in Pre engineering, Pre Medical, General Science, Commerce and the Humanities (Arts) groups up to 2009, with at least 45% score from the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Hyderabad, or other recognised institutes, are eligible to apply for admissions to the BS degree program in Pharmacy, Science, Social Sciences, Education, Islamic Studies, Commerce and Business Administration and the Arts Faculties.
The candidates who have passed the Bachelors degree, by 2008, in the relevant discipline from the University of Sindh or any other recognized University, Institute can apply for admission to the M.A in various degree programs, M.Sc in different science subjects, M.P.A, M.Com and MBA previous, MLIS and Post Graduate Diploma in Library Information Science.
The University has also announced admissions at the Sindh University Laar College Badin for the news session in three disciplines of BBA, BS Computer Science and B.Com Honours. The University has also announced admissions to its newly established Sindh University Campus at Mirpurkhas in five disciplines BBA, BS Computer Science, BS Information Technology, B.Com and BS Geology in the first batch of 2010.
The candidates of Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Umerkot and Tharparkar areas who have passed Intermediate with a 45% score would be eligible to apply for admissions. The interested candidates can obtain their admission forms along with the catalogue from the Habib bank Limited, Jinnah Road branch with effect from September, 15.
