Senior Provincial Minister Punjab Raja Riaz Ahmed has said that government is committed to solve the problems of the people. He said Peoples Party Government took over in difficult circumstances when the country was at the verge of bankruptcy and there was a severe electricity shortage in the country but now with the sincere efforts of the government things are changing.
He was addressing the Iftar-dinner hosted by People's Unity a PIA employees' union associated with Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Allama Iqbal Intl Airport on Friday. He also said that party is united under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari. Speaking on the occasion President Peoples Unity Lahore Chaudhry Sajid Gujjar said that it was due to the efforts of the unity that the salaries of lower grade staff was increase by 20 percent.
