Education Department Punjab will take disciplinary action against the principals of 26 government colleges on account of poor performance of their students in B.A./B.Sc Examinations 2009. This was decided in a hogh level meeting of the department held under the Chairmanship of the Provincial Education Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman on Sunday here, according to DGPR.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Javed Aslam, acting Secretary Education Ahad Cheema and other high-ranking officers of the Department.
The meeting was told that the results of 26 colleges were less them 10 percent and no student from fourteen colleges out of these colleges could clear the said examination and resultantly the results of these colleges were zero percent.
The disciplinary action will be taken against the Principals of the following Colleges: Govt College Bochal Kalan, Chakwal (result zero percent), G. C Bhaipheru, Kasur (result zero percent), Govt Taleem-ul- Islam College, Chenabnagar, Chiniot (result 7.69 percent), G.I.Chiniot (result 8.33 percent), Govt Farid Bux Ghosia Degree Science College Faridabad T.T.Singh (result 8.5 percent), Govt College Gojra (result 7.14 percent), Govt College for Women Rahwali, Gujranwala (result zero percent), Govt College, Chak No 170/JB Jhang (result zero percent), Govt College for Women, Dina Jhelum (result zero percent) , Govt Degree College, Jaranwala (result 9.09 percent), Govt College, Kamoky, Gujranwala (result 5 percent), Govt P.S.T College Kamalia (result zero percent), Govt Shalimar College, Baghbanpura (result 8 percent), Govt Gulberg College, Lahore (result zero percent), Govt Degree College for Boys, Raiwind (B.A 4 percent B.Sc result zero percent), Govt Mayo College, Lahore (result 8.75 percent), Albaruny Govt College, Pind Dadan Khan (result 7.69 percent), Govt P.Y.S Degree College Phalia Mandi Baha-uddin (result zero percent), Govt Degree College Patoki (result zero percent), Govt College Asgharmal, Rawalpindi (result zero percent), Govt College, Shakargarh (result zero percent), Govt Allama Iqbal College, Sialkot (result zero percent) Govt Allama Iqbal College for Women (result 9.52 percent), Govt Jinnah Islamia College Sialkot (result zero percent), and Govt College Sumandari (result 5 percent).
