A man lost his life in an incident of target killing as armed assailants opened indiscriminate firing on him in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal town on Sunday. According to the Chiipa sources, the 35-year-old died on the spot while the men managed to flee from the scene. The identification of the deceased could not be ascertained.
His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities while investigation into the matter started. Meanwhile, a three-day-old tortured body of a seven year-old-girl was found from Mateen Park block 13/D of Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
