The media is flooded with starling disclosures by retired Military Officers, who served on very highly sensitive posts during the period of Martial Law Dictators. It is ironical that when our country is in the grip of various internal and external problems, the sudden appearance of these retried Military officers with unbelievable stories has further deepened the crises, sabotaging the sincere efforts of those people who want true democracy to flourish in our country.
The two major political parties are once again at loggerheads and there is danger of the break up of the alliance between these two parties. This will pave way for a third party, which is no one else except the Military to jump in this infighting among our politicians and impose Martial Law once again.
If Martial Law is imposed, then that day would be the saddest day in the history of Pakistan. The present political situation clearly indicates that there is a great conspiracy against democracy, hatched by a superpower, in collaboration with the enemies of democracy to safeguard the interest of that superpower. It is for the politicians to awake and set their course in right direction. Otherwise, the coming generations will never forgive them.
