Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Saturday said that additional police forces would be deployed in trade and shopping centres, Mosques, Imam Barghas and recreational places on Eid day in order to ensure maintenance of law and order in the province.
In a meeting, Sharif also instructed the senior police officers to pay visits to their areas on Eid day. IG Police Tariq Saleem briefed the chief minister on security arrangements and traffic plan. Senior police officers and MPA Colonel Shuja Khanzada (Retd) were also present on the occasion.
