Pakistan Muslim League (PML) Secretary General Mushahid Hussain on Wednesday had a special meeting with PML Senior Vice President Sardar Yar Mohammed Rind, who is also the Leader of Opposition in the Balochistan Assembly. The meeting was held in Dubai during Mushahid's brief stopover while en-route to Astana, Kazakhstan.
The PML Secretary General conveyed a special message of solidarity and support from PML President Senator Shujat Hussain for Sardar Rind, who despite being an opposition leader, has been victimised by the Balochistan government. In his message sent to Sardar Rind, Chaudhry Shujat Hussain said his party stood by the people of Balochistan and would play its due role as an opposition to resolve the issues being faced by the people of Balochistan.
Chaudhry Shujaat promised that the PML would raise this issue both inside the Parliament and outside as well. Both the leaders also expressed concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan, especially the rise in target killings and street crimes across Balochistan.
