Quadri Group started off in 1957 as a small shop in Juna Market, Karachi by two ambitious and hardworking entrepreneurs, Muhammad Zafar Uddin Quadri and Muhammad Hanif Uddin Quadri. The shop catered to the needs of cobblers and small shoemakers. Today, Quadri Group and its associate companies continue to serve the shoe making, hardware and allied industry all over Pakistan.

Quadri Group Product Categories include widest range of adhesives, nails, soles, insoles, linings, threads & strings, and other products totalling over 1800 items with various grades, all readily available for quick delivery throughout Pakistan.
The Group also imports various Petrochemical Products and has the distinction of marketing more than two hundred designs of rubber sheet in different sizes, colors and thickness through its Display Centers. We have offices in two major cities of Pakistan, Lahore and Karachi as Head Office. In other important cities we have strong representation through our sales personnel. We have quality testing laboratories, well trained shoe technicians and all related logistic facilities. Size of our operation has allowed us to pursue both, large and small consumers. Quadri Group also arranges workshops for educating shoe manufacturers to introduce new technologies in the Pakistan market.
In the last few years, shoes from China started pouring in the country posing serious threats to the existence of small shoe making cottage industries of Pakistan. This deteriorating situation made to contemplate the far sighted CEO of Quadri Group, Mr Wasim uz Zafar Quadri to bring in full range of shoe making materials from China in order to provide economical shoe materials to the Pakistani Shoe industry. The materials previously arriving from Europe are now imported from China making Pakistani Shoe making Industry highly competitive.
Bringing innovative products in the market is the hallmark of Quadri Group. It regularly participates in many international level exhibitions like Hardlinks, a showcase of Hardware and Accessories that is regularly held by Pakistan Hardware Merchants Association in Karachi Expo Center. It is also a regular and an active participant in the prestigious annual event of Pakistan International Footwear Show (PIFS) held in luxurious locations of Lahore and organised by Pakistan Footwear Manufacturers Association. These exhibitions are an opportunity for the group to introduce new and innovative products making it a trend setter in the market.
Quadri Group also has an adhesive manufacturing facility by the name of ASA International. Its head office is housed in first floor of the state of the art building of Quadri Manzil in the old city area. The building is a blend of exquisite style architectural interior and a reinstated cultural heritage of Karachi.
ASA adhesive manufacturing firm consists of two units. One unit is located in Azizabad Industrial Area while the other unit is conveniently located on Ahsanabad Site II, Superhighway towards Gulshan i Maymar. The Azizabad factory has a covered area of 1000 square yards. It provides a good location in the heart of Karachi for city wide distribution. It has a production capacity of minimum 8 metric tons per day.
The construction of the unit at Ahsanabad site area is based on German standards and is modeled on a popular European brand adhesive making factory. It has a covered area of around 2440 square yards. It has storage license for dangerous petroleum products of 73,984 liters. The machinery used in production includes Mixtures that are indigenously built to order according to the local conditions.It has a production capacity of minimum 12 metric tons a day. The factory also provides the facility of repacking of chemicals from tankers to drums and on to small packing. The greenery maintained in the factory gives it an environment friendly look.
The factory manufactures various types of shoe adhesives for Shoe making Industries and a wide variety of adhesives for Hardware, Furniture, PVC Sanitary pipes, and Automobiles industry. Quadri Group future plans include launching of DIY (Do it yourself) adhesives range to further upgrade the adhesives market and production of graft shoe adhesive (advance quality of shoe adhesive) that has not been manufactured in Pakistan. This project will help save a lot of foreign exchange for the government.
Quadri Group also plans to have Joint Venture with a Malaysian firm for adhesive manufacturing. This joint venture will provide economies of scale in bulk buying of raw materials like synthetic rubbers and resins through few major international suppliers. For this purpose an area of 1 acre land has been recently purchased in Super Highway Site Area, where advanced technology and well equipped facility is planned that shall cater the needs of modern world shoe manufacturers and allied industries. The planned storage capacity is of approximately 600,000 liters of chemicals that will further enhance the production of all types of adhesives specially the shoe adhesives.
