The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Punjab, has planned to organise the biggest workers convention in the Punjab province's history. Ghulam Ali Bukhari, a local leader of MQM revealed on Sunday that the MQM chief, Altaf Hussain has advised to organise a big workers convention in Punjab, which should be the biggest than that of other political forces.
According to him, Altaf Bhai called upon party office bearers in all districts of Punjab, including those in Islamabad, to work with determination and devotion to organise the MQM convention in Lahore.
Altaf also called upon the country's youth and students, especially those in Punjab, to play their role in developing honest leadership in the country. He said the MQM was the party of the poor and the middle-class, and called upon the youth and the poor to support his party in its struggle to strengthen the country further.
