The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has commenced "Motorcycle Service" to facilitate people living in congested areas so as enable them to get computerised national identity cards. According to the Nadra spokesman, the service has been launched on the direction of the Chairman.
The decision was taken to facilitate the people of congested areas where swift centres do not exist and inaccessible for mobile vans, he said. Nadra has already established swift centres at Alipur Chattha, Ghakkar Mandi, Qila Didar Singh, Chung, Mamu Kanjan, Kangan Pur, and Jabooka in Okara so that the people living in rural areas could also be facilitated in getting issued their computerised cards.
