Nominal business seen on grain market

Very little business was seen on the wholesale grain and seed market on Saturday as many players were interested in doing business after further fall in the rates, dealers said. On the cereal side urad Burma lost Rs 100 to Rs 2700, sugar gained Rs 100 to Rs 4600 due to persisting demand, other items did not show any change in process of trading, they said.
Falling trend persisted on the rice sector as Irri-6 low type shed Rs 100 to Rs 2200 and better type was down by Rs 125 to Rs 2225 during the day, they said. On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag quoted lower at Rs 935-950, other items did not move any side, they said.
