The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) Traffic, Capital City Police Karachi Khurram Gulzar has announced that a portion of Shahra-e-Faisal would be closed on Sunday (Today) to commemorate October 18 carnage. The road leading from Tipu Sultan signal to Drigh Road would remain closed from 5pm, he said and asked the drivers to follow Shah Faisal Colony bridge from Star Gate, Sunset Boulevard from Korangi Industrial Area and Defence area.
The citizens could use Rashid Minhas Road, Dalmia- Stadium Road and University Road from Drigh Road to continue journey to the destination from Shahrah-e-Quaideen, the DIG said. The people going from Baloch Colony to Airport could use Korangi Industrial 8000 road, Shah Faisal Colony bridge, and Baloch Colony to Jail Road, University Road, Nipa Chowrangi and Rashid Minhas Road, he said.-PR
