US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will travel to Pakistan "soon" for high-level talks there but her travel dates must be kept secret for security reasons, top aides said. Assistant Secretary of State PJ Crowley spoke of Clinton's "desire to travel to Pakistan soon" as Richard Holbrooke, the US envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan, gave brief details about her upcoming talks there.
"There are security constraints on how we discuss this," Holbrooke told reporters. "She will see the leadership of the country, the leading members of the opposition, civil society, businessmen and as many people she can in a limited period of time and within the limits of a very, very dramatic situation going on in the country," Holbrooke added.
