The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) Sunday apprehended 27 Afghan nationals who had entered Pakistan illegally. In charge police check post, Yaraband, Inspector Muhammad Yar told APP that these Afghan nationals were arrested at Yaraband Check Post during routine checking. The official revealed that those Afghan nationals included Pushtoon, Uzbak and Tajak.
He maintained that the arrested had not possessed any legal documents for entrance into Pakistan, and were heading to Quetta from Chaman when they were held. Afghan cards and currency were also recovered from their possession. He added that cases have been registered against them under the Foreign Act and now they were being interrogated.
