'Transfer of former principal was on administrative grounds'

A spokesman of Higher Education Department clarified on Monday that the former principal of Government PG College for Women, Rawalpindi, Mrs Waseem Sikandar, was transferred on administrative grounds, instead of political grounds. The spokesman further stated that Mrs Waseem Siknadar had completed her tenure of three years at same place of posting that necessitated her transfer from the college.
After the approval of Chief Minister, Punjab/Competent Authority, Services and General Administration Department issued her transfer orders.
