The NWFP and Punjab Chapter of (CNG) stations association have announced to observe a strike on November 10 (Tuesday) against the gas load management plan approved by the federal cabinet, as minister for petroleum Naveed Qamar refused to listen to CNG association's representatives.

Ghiyas Abdullah Paracha, Chairman CNG Association said that a meeting being held in Lahore on Saturday (today) for chalking out a strike scheduled after Tuesday in both the provinces, if all the demands of the association were not met by November 15. Announcing the strike the meeting rejected the gas load management plan of the government, as there would not be any gas load-shedding in Sindh and Balochistan.
Earlier, the gas load management plan for CNG stations approved by the cabinet said that all gas supplies to all the CNG stations would be suspended in Lahore region on the first two days of the schedule, which includes Kasur, Muridke and Sheikhupura.
