Jamaat-i-Islami Punjab said on Monday Pakistan should disassociate itself from American war on terror in order to bring peace in the country. Jamaat Punjab Chief Dr Syed Waseem Akhtar said increasing bomb blasts in the country speak of the inefficient leadership, which has completely failed to arrest the situation. Moreover, he said, it also shows the indifference of the rulers to the plight of people of Pakistan.
He said people were in grip of fear and fed up of the increasing incidents of terrorism. He said the government has no right to rule after failing to control the law and order in the country. He said Pakistan cannot get out of the anarchy until it refuses to obey the US government. He said the situation would improve after the end of drone attacks. He said India and Sri Lanka were also behind terror activities in the country. The JI leader said India is our enemy and behind Balochistan unrest, as it wants to create Bangladesh-like situation there. JI Punjab chief also criticised Israel for killing Palestinians.
