Musharraf dubbed as absconder, coward: Bilawal House strongly reacts to Musharraf's statement

Bilawal House on Monday strongly condemned the statement of General Pervez Musharraf (Retd) against President Asif Zardari. Reacting to the not only bitter but equally indecent words used by the former President against the incumbent head of the state, Bilawal House's spokesman Ijaz Durrani dubbed Musharraf as "absconder" and "coward", who lacks the courage to come back to face public wrath and courts.
In an interview with renowned journalist Seymour Hersh in New York, the former dictator has dubbed Zardari as a "criminal", a "fraud" and a "third rater." Durrani said the statement of former dictator depicts his long hatred for the Bhutto family, which forced him to leave the Presidency, which was illegally occupied by him for eight years. "The person, who himself is begging for shelter abroad has no right to give any statement about the President. Instead of living abroad he should come to the country and face the cases pending against him," he added.
Political analysts attach great significance to Musharraf's statement against the President at a time when the later is facing serious challenges. However, President's spokesman Farhatullah Baber said that Presidency would not respond to Musharraf's statement.
When asked about the reason for not reacting to the statement, Babar laughed and said that he did not want to explain as to why the Presidency not wants to respond. "You should approach Bilawal House in this regard," Baber asked this scribe.
