A group of lawyers here on Thursday thrashed a cop at Lahore High Court (LHC) premises and got released an accused after Justice Mnazoor Ahmed Malik rejected his pre-arrest bail. As accused Mian Irfan came out of court, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Aslam of Faisalabad caught hold of him and rushed towards LHC exit door.
Meanwhile, Mohsin Ali advocate along with six or seven other lawyers swiftly followed cop and intercepted him on the way. They straightway started beating him and easily got released the accused. Cop made hue and cry but no one heard his voice.
