Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Punjab on Friday held a rally to condemn the role of the present rulers and friendly opposition for failing to steer the country out of crisis. The rally led by PTI Punjab President Ahsen Rasheed started from Lahore Hotel and concluded at Lahore Press Club.
PTI Lahore President Mian Mehmood ul Rasheed, Osama Rana, Malik Ishtiaq and other party members were also present on the occasion. Holding banners, placards and party flags, the PTI members chanted vociferous slogans against central and Punjab government for paying no heed towards public grievances.
The participants also lambasted the Zardari-Nawaz alliance mainly for doing no service to the nation by not fulfilling the pledges made with the public before polls. Members of PTI also burnt tyres to condemn the prevailing electricity, sugar and paddy crisis due to the poor governance of both central and provincial administrations.
