A firm dollar pressured wheat and corn futures in early trading at the Chicago Board of Trade on Thursday as the strength in the currency made US commodities more expensive on the world market. At 9:34 am CST (1534 GMT) CBOT soft red winter wheat for December delivery was down 10-3/4 cents at $5.55-1/2 a bushel. CBOT December corn was down 5-3/4 cents at $3.92-1/4 a bushel.
January soyabeans up 9 cents at $10.36. Big export sales of US soy and news from USDA of a sale of US soybeans to China lifts soybean market.
