Forces clear 30 militants compounds, huge arms cache seized

The security forces cleared 30 militants compounds at Kam Narakai and 72 at Mir Khoni, whereas huge cache of arms was recovered during the ongoing 'Operation Rah e Nijat' in South Waziristan Agency. Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) spokesman, Athar Abass while giving details said that on Tuesday the security forces have consolidated their positions at Asman Manza, Mola Khan Sarai and Kundi Ghar Sar.
He further said that the terrorists have fired seven rockets on Lakki Ghund, five rockets targeting Mana Camp and four rockets on Ladha Bridge, near Makeen but the attacks were responded effectively. Sharing details of relief activities, he said that 15,577 Cash Cards have been issued to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of South Waziristan so far.
Meanwhile, during 'Operation Rah-e-Rast' at Swat and Malakand, security forces arrested five suspected terrorists during search and clearance operation at Gulibagh and Tiligram. The security forces destroyed a bridge constructed by the terrorists and cleared the route for all kinds of traffic. On a tip security forces raided at Sarga Moray near Batkhela and apprehended five terrorists.
