Killing of MPA: NWFP government to observe one-day mourning

The NWFP government has announced to officially observe one-day mourning while the ANP has declared three days of mourning over the tragic killing of the ANP MPA Dr Shamsher Ali Khan in a suicide blast in Swat. To pay homage to the martyred MPA, Qur'an Khuwani would be held at Civil Secretariat Jamia Mosque, which would be participated by the high-ranking officials and secretariat employees, said spokesman of the provincial government.
The ANP would lower its flag for three days to mourn the tragic death of their legislature. Meanwhile, the ANP Provincial President Senator Afrasiab Khan Khattak has directed workers, across the province, to hold Qur'an Khuwani at the district for the Esal-e-Sawaab of late Dr Shamsher Ali Khan.
