The Chemistry Department of the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) is being upgraded. This was stated by FUUAST Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Qaiser on Friday. Speaking at a ceremony at the Department, he pointed out that the Higher Education Commission (HEC) had approved a PC-I of Rs 37 million for the upgradation of the Chemistry Department of the FUUAST.
The VC said that 30 percent of the amount had been released. Professor Qaiser further stated that there had been a substantial increase in research journals and books at the seminar library of the Department.
