Central Chairman National Peace Committee for Interfaith Harmony (NPCIH) Allama Syed Ayaz Zaheer Hashmi, has appointed Mian Rizwan Ali, President, Model Town Football Academy as Vice-Chairman of NPCIH. Rizwan will work as Gulberg Town's Vice Chairman and he said that since the world has squeezed into a global village, therefore, interfaith harmony is essential for its peace.
"We need to work together to eliminate the scourge of terrorism, extremism and sectarian violence," he added.
"I feel glad to join NPCIH and myself congratulated all the members of NPCIH who are working for the betterment of the humanities without interest for personal gain." He added, "President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minster Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and other representatives of the nation, showing passion to take action for interfaith harmony between all provinces of Pakistan and globally.
This is the reason that the Committee has been set up by the government of Pakistan directly. The government providing full support to the NPCIH to reinstate and for the rehabilitation of peace, prosperity and unity, he added. "I hope every Pakistani will participate in this NPCIH as the active members for peace," he added.
