Pakistan wants to have good relations with the foreign world but the security situation is tense and volatile. A number of incidents describe the grave nature of the situation in FATA, Swat and other parts of NWFP, as well as the violence reported from insurgency-hit province Balochistan. Security forces operations of more focused intensity continued in different areas.
The backlash from the militants groups in the conflict zone was pronounced, resulting in more casualties among security forces as well as civilians. As a Pakistani I am concerned about the security situation in the country. The enemies of Pakistan want to destroy the peace of this Muslim State. Pakistan is facing a lot of problems relating to security. The lives of people are not secure in the modern era of bomb blasts.
The year 2009 is considered most dangerous year for the country's security. A series of blasts have rocked Pakistan over the past few months. The mosque is considered as a scared place where Muslims offer their prayers but now people are not safe when they offer their prayers in the mosques.
Do we then feel secure? People can't move freely about, they are mentally disturbed and fear a blast may take place anytime, anywhere, destroying the lives of the common people. The youth are the backbone of a country, but they are also neither safe nor free, as the bomb blasts in the Islamic University, Islamabad show. After this incident, schools and colleges all over Pakistan were closed.
The question that comes to mind is why those terrorists want to disturb the peace of Pakistan? The blasts are still going on despite the security alert. The army, police and other state institutions are on high alert but still those terrorists are well-trained and often succeed in destroying the peace of the country through bomb blasts. There should be a solution to these bomb blasts that are the great threat to Pakistan's security.
