Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), its affiliated chambers and associations have expressed complete solidarity with Pakistan armed forces in the war against terrorists, scheming foreign elements and local militants in South Waziristan.
President FPCCI Sultan Ali Chawla, while talking to media here on Saturday, said that the entire business community fully supports the armed forces who are engaged in crushing the militants. "We are proud of our armed forces and will extend all out co-operation for the success of the operation against militants", he highlighted.
Vice President Saarc Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Iftikhar Ali Malik said the operation Rah-e-Nijat in South Waziristan is not meant to target the patriotic Pakistani people of Mehsud tribe, adding that it is geared against the oppressors who destroyed peace in the region for their nefarious designs.
"The entire business community, at all cost, will help foil the evil designs of anti-state elements who want to harm the national integrity to please their foreign masters", he stressed.
President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chaudhry Zafar Iqbal said that valiant armed forces would never let anyone harm the country. Vice Presidents FPCCI Haji Muhammad Adress, Hameed Akhtar Chadda, Aftab Barlas and others firmly expressed their resolve not to allow anyone play with the destiny of the nation. They said that conspiracies against Pakistan by "foreign elements" would not succeed and by the grace of Allah Almighty the country carved out on the globe with unlimited sacrifices will survive well.
