Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab, MNA Malik Afzal Khokhar, has said that those who got their loans written off and who provided them the facility, both are "national criminals". In a statement issued here he said every child of Pakistan was under burden of foreign loans, while the loans of influential personalities were written off.
He said the military dictator in order to linger on his rule had written off the bank loans of Rs 60 billion as political bribe. He said Pervez Musharraf had no reason for such generosity and every penny should be recovered from the beneficiaries whether they are politicians or military generals.
