PEEF organises capacity building workshop

With a view to enhance speaking power and self confidence in scholarship holders, Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) has organised a capacity building workshop for the talented students. Under this programme a workshop on the topic "Personality Building and Communication" was held at University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore which was attended by 74 scholars studying in UET.
Professor Shahzaib Khan, Professor Ambreen Siddiqui, Professor Dr Sajid Ali and Professor Dr Khaliq ur Rehman delivered lectures on Communication Skills, Personality Development, Time Management and Public Speaking.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Khaliq ur Rehman said that no doubt scholars of PEEF are very talented but it has been observed that there is lack of self confidence and speaking power in the student. With a view to enabling them to face the challenge of future, Ayesha Taufeeq said that the PEEF has launched a programme of holding personality development workshop for 500 scholars throughout the province. She further stated that in the first phase, the PEEF distributed 5320 scholarships among deserving students and more 5000 talented would be granted stipend in near future.
