Ulema, Mashaikh from all over country will meet under aegis of Minister of Religious Affairs, Syed Hamid Saeed Kazmi on December 17 to chalk out strategy for eradication of terrorism and extremism from the country, says a press release received here on Friday. They agreed to meet in the auditorium of International Islamic University, Faisal Mosque Campus.
These prominent Ulema, Mashaikh and Religious Political Leaders of all schools of thought, representatives of Itteha-e-Tanzeemat Madaris-e-Deenya and members of Islamic Ideology, apart from holding discussions on the subject of eradication of terrorism and extremism, will express solidarity against the suicidal attacks being carried out by the terrorists.
Apart from this, the minister is also arranging a meeting in the premises of Council of Islamic Ideology on December 16 to offer Dua for persons of civil society, police and armed forces who fought against terrorism and militancy and sacrificed their lives for safety and security of the country and protection of values of Islam. The political leaders, civil servants, Ulema, Mashaikh, members of bereaved family and representatives from police and armed forces will participate in the meeting.-PR
