Chief Justice (CJ) Lahore High Court (LHC) has taken suo motu notice over the death of two-year old girl Laiba who was thrown in boiling "Haleem Daig" an application submitted by her mother Mst. Shumaila who appeared before the CJ in person. The applicant told the CJ that the local police had declared the accused persons innocent and recommended for cancellation of the case.
Chief Justice directed SP Investigation City to appear on December 21 alongwith investigation officer and complete record of the case registered with Islampura police. CJ observed "the SP should be well conversant with the facts of the case.
